An Indonesian Crispy Peanuts or Rempeyek snack which is delicious as a snack with your operative as well as a small accomplishment with your meal. It looks like a little thin “cookie” and is prepared much in the same way as American pancakes.

here are the material you will need to make Crispy Peanuts or Rempeyek


200 gr. Rice Flour
½ Tsp. Baking powder
1 Clove Garlic (chopped)
Pinch of Cumin (ground)
½ Tsp. Salt
250 ml. Coconut milk

500 gr anchovy
½ Tsp. Coriander (ground)
1 Candle Nut (grated)
100 gr. Raw Peanuts
Pinch of Turmeric (ground)
Oil for frying

instructions how to make

Mix the Rice flour with coconut milk and baking powder, then add Coriander, Cummin, Turmeric, Garlic, and Candlenut. Mix well. Add the slightly crushed Peanuts and anchovy then Stir well. This will give you a somewhat runny batter mix. Heat oil in shallow pan and fry batter by the tablespoon. Drain on absorbent paper.
